Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 

Combine 1/2 cup quick cooking rolled oats (oatmeal)

2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

1 egg

1/4 cup canola oil

2 Tbsp molasses

Stir in 1/4 cup of water (if mixture is too dry add a little more water)

On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to about 1/2 inch thickness. Use small cookie cutters to cut out the treats. Transfer to a baking sheet sprayed with Pam. Bake 10-12 minuted, until dry. Cool completely then store in a cookie jar or a sealed plastic bag. Remember, this is one "cookie" that is even better if it is dried out!
