(Alexandria, MN) -- During a 49-14 football win against Saint Francis Friday evening, Alexandria's Nolan Morical scored four times while becoming the school's all-time leading rusher.
Senior Nolan Morical rushed for 222 yards four touchdowns during the Alexandria Cardinals' season-opening win Friday night at Viking Bank Field. The accumulated yardage on the ground vaulted Morical to the top of the list of all-time leading rushers in school history. He has been a starting running back since his sophomore season.
Morical's first half touchdown came on a five yard run in the opening quarter. He added three rushing scores in the second half, when the Cardinals pulled away from a five-point halftime lead. Alexandria outscored Saint Francis 30-0 after halftime to prevail, 49-14.
