(Moorhead, MN)  --  Police in Moorhead are dealing with what they call a mysterious canine.  Authorities received reports of a possible wolf-like creature in the city over the past month.  Some thought it might be a coyote or a husky.  The animal was caught Thursday in a live trap and taken to the pound.  Officers determined the dog is a pet but the owner cannot get it back until they determine if it's a wolf-cross.  The pet cannot be kept in the city limits if it is not a domestic dog.  Police say they will work to find a home for it if possible.
