(Monticello, MN) -- A Monticello restaurant is resolving its lawsuit with the state of Minnesota for violating the ban on indoor dining.

Attorney General Keith Ellison's office says Cornerstone Cafe will pay ten-thousand dollars in profits it made while operating in violation of the emergency COVID order. Cornerstone also agreed to fully comply with the governor's executive order related to bars and restaurants. Violating the settlement will result in a 25-thousand-dollar civil penalty. Ellison thanked Cornerstone Cafe for "agreeing to meet its responsibility to help all Minnesotans stop the spread of COVID-19."
