(St. Paul, MN)  --  Minnesota Wild general manager Bill Guerin is relieving Bruce Boudreau of his head coaching duties.  Boudreau's firing comes the morning after his team blew a two-goal, third-period lead and lost to the New York Rangers 4-3 in a shootout.  The Wild earned a point and now trails Arizona by three points for the final wild card spot in the Western Conference.  Guerin thanked Boudreau in a statement for "his hard work and commitment to the Minnesota Wild" during his tenure.  Guerin traded away popular player Jason Zucker this week to free up future salary cap space.
