(Mankato, MN)  --  For the first time in 52 years, Mankato will not be the epicenter of Minnesota Vikings training camp.  The team is holding its first training camp this week at the new T-C-O Performance Center in Eagan.  Visit Mankato President Anna Thill says southern Minnesota is certainly still "Vikings Country" and they wish the team all the best.  She said they, "absolutely they don't hold any grudge. "  Thill says the infrastructure and facilities used by the Vikings will allow them to bring in other events in the future.  Vikings training camp generated about five-million dollars in economic activity for the Mankato area every summer.  Pro Bowl wide receiver Adam Thielen played college football at Minnesota State University-Mankato.
