(Rochester, MN) -- A Las Vegas man has been convicted of charges stemming from a shooting in Rochester last year. Nineteen-year-old Thaddeus Merritt was found guilty of second-degree assault and two drive-by shooting charges for his involvement in what Rochester Police described as a “rolling gunfight” in a northwest Rochester neighborhood. Merritt was the first of five suspects charged in the case. Merritt was arrested the day after the incident when he went to police impound to pick up one of the cars involved in the incident.
