Knute Nelson

Founded in 1948, Knute Nelson was established through a bequest by the late Senator and Governor of Minnesota, Knute Nelson (1843-1923), to provide care for older adults.

At the Knute Nelson Foundation board meeting held on July 23, 2020, the board elected the following new officers: Elliot Christensen, Terri Bursch, Rich Moen and Pam Carlson.

The Knute Nelson Foundation board is comprised of the following individuals:

The mission of the Knute Nelson Foundation is to build and strengthen relationships with individuals, businesses and foundations who engage in fostering a culture of philanthropy (time, talent, treasure) by securing funds for Knute Nelson's mission.
