The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recognized three local businesses on Wednesday, November 12, 2020.
6th & Broadway Clothing and Décor is a new business in Alexandria located at 528 Broadway St. specializing in unique, luxurious, and on-trend women’s apparel and accessories for all of life’s occasions. In addition to women’s clothing it also carries a selection of little girls clothing as well as men’s jeans. Unique to the store is Minnesota artist, Jay Rasmussen, photography for sale. Creative Touch Boutique located at 516 Broadway St. recently completed a remodel of its store after a fire took several downtown Alexandria businesses in late February. The fire claimed more than 80% of its merchandise and forced the store to bring everything down to the bare studs and rebuild. The store features boutique style clothing for women as well as baby/toddler clothing and home décor. For more information, visit creativetouchboutique.com.
Aldi of Alexandria recently completed an expansion to its facility located at 600 50th Ave. W. Aldi carries fresh produce to everyday essentials and prides itself on its efficiency, which is one reason it can keep its product price minimal. Along with the expansion, Aldi of Alexandria also started curbside pick-up, this allows it to cater to more people in the area and be competitive with other businesses.
