(Alexandria, MN) CARING HANDS DENTAL CLINIC of Alexandria is pleased to announce that they will be building a new Caring Hands Dental Clinic in Pipestone Minnesota this spring. This 6 operatory facility will offer the same high quality dental care and education for citizens of all ages that the Alexandria office has provided since 2005. The Clinic will mirror the Alexandria office and will offer a Sliding Fee Scale Program and eventually an Outreach Hygiene Program, a Nursing Home Outreach Program and Oral Health Education to schools and other venues.
Caring Hands is a non-profit, offering complete professional oral health care. Caring Hands provides its services to all citizens served by Medicaid, MnCare, Veterans, Headstart, PrimeWest Health, Delta Dental, Ucare, Medica, Health Partners and more. The Clinic also offers programs for nursing home residents and uninsured citizens.
Funding for the estimated $1.2 million dollar facility in Pipestone is provided by a $276,000 PrimeWest Health Community Reinvestment Grant, a $100,000 Otto Bremer Trust Grant, the generosity of discounts from the Henry Schein Dental Company and Caring Hands Dental of Alexandria. The Pipestone Clinic hopes to be fully staffed and operational in September 2021.
Caring Hands Dental Clinic’s Alexandria staff and the Board of Directors look forward to serving the citizens of SW Minnesota and thank PrimeWest Health and Otto Bremer Trust for their tremendous support in this project.
