Zebra Mussels

(Alexandria, MN) At 7 pm on Monday, September 14, Legacy of the Lakes Museum, in partnership with the Douglas County Lakes Association, will host a free zoom webinar, "From the Lab to the Lake: Research Advances in Minnesota's Fight Against Aquatic Invasive Species."

Dr. Nick Phelps and Meg Duhr will be presenting the latest news from the Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research center, with particular focus on emerging science that better informs management of zebra mussels, Eurasian and hybrid water milfoil, and curly leaf pond weed. They will also discuss how the Center’s unique structure and operations prioritizes the most critical AIS research needs and results in science that lake associations, agencies, and county government units can actually implement to improve their prevention and management efforts.

This webinar is free, but you must register here.
