Starbuck Teen Dies in Head-on Crash

(Glenwood MN-) A Starbuck teen died after his car hit head-on with a semi in Pope County Sunday. The state patrol says it happened just after 12:30 on Pope County Road 18, just west of Highway 104, south of Glenwood. The Patrol says a car driven by 18-year-old Josiah Wright was westbound, crossed the center line and collided with an on-coming semi. Wright was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car and died at the scene. The semi driver, 35-year-old Steven Nelson of Paynesville, was taken to the Paynesville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
