(Alexandria, MN) For more than 20 years Josh Waltzing has been teaching martial arts in one way or another.  As a young student from Melrose, he began a journey of building confidence in himself through martial arts and that has spread to helping hundreds of people to do the same.  16 years ago he started his own martial arts school in Sauk Centre called the Sauk Centre Taekwondo Academy.  Close to six years ago Master Josh added a second school, this one in Alexandria called Alexandria Martial Arts & Movement.  Waltzing is involved in many other facets of self-defense, movement and confidence-building.

The following VIDEO story (below) highlights some of the reasons why Josh was selected as our latest "Voices That Cares" nominee.

Josh is also a strong advocate for making changes in the world of human trafficking in Minnesota.  He is the founder of an organization called FREEAlexandriaMN (Forever Reaching to Eliminate Exploitation in Alexandria).

In addition to their son Jackson Josh and his wife Dani also have foster adopted two boys.  The couple say they felt drawn to that type of adoption process.
