(Holmes City, MN) A 21 year old Fargo man was injured in Holmes City Township Wednesday afternoon.

The State Patrol says Elmi Abdikadir Elmi was driving his Jeep northbound on Highway 114, but traveling in the southbound lane. The southbound traffic swerved to avoid a collision. The Jeep swerved to the left to avoid a collision as well and ran off the road into the north ditch and struck a field approach. He was taken to Alomere Health in Alexandria with non life-threatening injuries.  The Patrol says the crash took place on Highway 114, just south of County Road 4.
