Thrivent Connect PI Day to Habitat for Hamanity

Thrivent Financial connect PI Day to local Habitat for Humanity efforts by offering pies to groups that sign up to help build or contribute to the Thrivent Builds campaign.

Alexandria, MN – Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County and Thrivent Financial are kicking off the 2020 build season by hosting a Pi Day Celebration on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at the Thrivent Office located at 2308 South Broadway Street in Alexandria.  PI Day is generally celebrated on March 14th nationally because the calendar dates match the number for the formula for PI, 3.14; however, is there ever a bad day when your celebration of PI includes fresh made "pie?"

Thrivent members, those interested in membership, and all who would like to support the Thrivent Faith Build are invited to pick up a pie with a free will donation to Habitat for Humanity, or receive a free pie upon signing up for a Habitat build day with one of the Thrivent Financial representatives. No construction skills necessary!

Delicious homemade pies will be made by The Brass Lantern, Travelers Inn, Elden’s, Perkins, and Country Blossom Farm. Pie pickup time is from 9 am to 1 pm and all proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County.
