(Alexandria, MN) The latest numbers from the Minnesota Department of Health are not encouraging for West Central Minnesota. One more death was attributed to COVID-19 in Douglas County and two more in Otter Tail County. The Douglas County resident was in their late 70's. The Otter Tail deaths were among a resident in their late 60's and another in their early 80's. No further details on the victims was released. The deceased are among 13 more deaths in the state in Thursday's MDH report.
20 more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Douglas County, making the seven day total 84. Nearby counties recorded the following positive tests (for 10-1): Grant Co. (1), Kandiyohi (14), Morrison (11), Otter Tail Co (6), Pope (3), Stearns Co (56), Stevens (5), Swift (2) and Wadena County (1).
