(Kensington, MN) The 12+ inches of snow that fell in October was a primer for the upcoming ski /snowboarding season, but it was not very sustaining with the weather in the low 70's that followed.  And so it goes with Mother Nature....

Andes Tower Hills makes their own snow every year to add a solid base across their 15 downhill runs.   Owner, Tom "Hollywood" Anderson, says they pump an average of 25 million gallons of water each year from a nearby pond to make snow.
