The second annual Lakes Jam rocked the Brainerd Lakes area last Thursday through Saturday at the Brainerd International Raceway. The rain that rolled through the area and left much of the Stage Area soaked didn't keep the crowds from coming out to see the show. Several thousand fans turned out to see this year’s lineup of live performances from artists like Starship, ThundHerStruck, Bret Michaels and Kings Ransom. On Saturday alone, it was estimated that between five and six thousand fans were at the event.

Lakes Jam was founded in 2012 and is a three-day annual concert event that aims to unite rock and country fans of all ages and from all walks of life. The event takes place rain or shine and is open to fans of all ages.
