As heavy, consistent rainfall drenched our lakes area Sunday, July 28 the decision was made to carry on with the 64th annual Waterama Grande Parade - A haze created by the amount of raindrops grayed out the beautiful backdrop of Lake Minnewaska, there was starting no fly-over for obvious reasons, and moderate winds flung raindrops every which way to douse even the most-covered bystanders. Despite this, there was still a wonderful turnout all along the route & extra effort went into cheers for those braving the showers to participate in the parade! Ben Roberts was on-site to take as many shots as possible before his camera shorted out from the rain, here are some of the many fine folks who helped make this year's celebration worth getting wet for.
