Jack Blades is the co-founding member of Night Ranger, who exploded on the music scene in 1982 with their debut album on MCA Records, “Dawn Patrol” which yielded the hits “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me” and “Sing Me Away”. They established themselves as a force to be reckoned with on the follow-up album a year later titled “Midnight Madness” with the tracks “You Can Still Rock In America” and the smash single, “Sister Christian”. The band would release several more albums before the temporarily disbanded. Blades went on to form the first “Super-Star” band of the ‘90’s, The Damn Yankees along with Ted Nugent, Styx guitarist Tommy Shaw and drummer Michael Cortellone (now the current drummer with Lynyrd Skynyrd). I had a chance to talk with Jack about basically his entire career and side projects all condensed into 15 minutes.
