WHAT: Birding in South Florida in April
Lynn Glesne, board member and birder, will share her bird sightings from her trip to South Florida April 2019. She loves to bird everywhere and since she had never birded in Florida, she saw 35 "non-Minnesota" birds. Lynn traveled with the Minnesota Birding Week group lead by Craig Mandel. They made many stops including Sanibel Island and West Palm Beach area. A few of the birds they got to see were the red-cockaded woodpecker, worm-eating warblers, and a quail-dove. Her favorite was the Limpkin.
Lynn will have many more sightings to share with us.
There is no cost to attend this program.
