Last Friday a search warrant led to the finding of an outdoor marijuana growing operation.  Agents from the West Central MN Narcotics Task Force, Douglas County Sheriff's Office and the Alexandria Police Department executed a search warrant for 46 year old Warren McArdell.  They did so at a property at 9290 State Highway 114 SW, on the southwest side of Lake Mary and owned by 53 year old James Doraska.  While conducting the search for McArdell, Deputy Scot Umlauf says the officers located the marijuana growing operation.  Another individual was identified by officers and released.  A second search warrant was then executed for the marijuana operation.  During that search officers located 44 large mature plants growing on the property along with processed marijuana, 4 guns and surveillance equipment.  McArdell was arrested for an outstanding warrant and charges will be filed for the marijuana operation and felony possession of a firearm.  More arrests are expected in relation to the marijuana grow in the near future.
