Viking Family Display Debuts at Runestone Museum in Alexandria

(Alexandria MN) Friday night the new Viking exhibit officially opened at the Runestone Museum. Since 1958, the Runestone has been displayed here in Alexandria, but this new exhibit includes costumes, weapons, and the family life of Vikings. The project was paid for through a grant. (Nelson MN) -- The Fire Trucks led the way and the candy was flying during the first annual St Patrick’s Day Parade in Nelson on Saturday. The five block parade route was packed with hundreds of people who were out for a little bit of fun with a parade starting at 12:30pm. Todd County Burglary Leads to the Arrest of Four from Alexandria

On Sunday, March 7th, 2015, the Alexandria Police Department received information from Todd County Sheriff’s Office that there had been a burglary reported on County Road 62 in Todd County. It was reported that more than two dozen firearms and several pieces of jewelry were taken from the home. After the report was made to Todd County Sheriff’s Office about the burglary, they received information of possible suspects who had connections to the Alexandria area. Upon further investigation, officers and investigators with the Alexandria Police Department and West Central MN Drug and Violent Crime Task Force started looking into these individuals and were able to acquire more information through numerous different sources.
